
Reels: How-To Video Series
Reels gained popularity quickly after its launch in 2020 and now sees over 200 billion video plays every day*. Despite this growth, many businesses and creators still struggle to create quality Reels that promote their brand. To help, we created an educational series that taught them how to develop Reels that increase brand awareness and drive sales, while also appealing to their customers. With more than 100k views in the first month, we saw a large increase in number of reels created, tool usage and time spent on the platform.

OVERVIEW
The series was designed to teach businesses and creators the basics on how to make a Reel while also giving them ideas on the types of Reels to make. Each video centered around a new idea for a Reel, like showing behind the scenes of your brand, and then walked learners through how to record that idea, edit it, and share it effectively. The best part? The videos were designed to be promoted as Reels themselves, allowing learners to watch our content and promptly create their own Reels without leaving the platform. We also encouraged learners to share their creations to Reels after with a unique hashtag, fostering a community where people could appreciate and learn from each other's work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading research to define target audience, their needs/challenges, and business priorities
Defining measurement plan, key performance indicators (KPIs), and ongoing update cadence
Leading content vision and development of the content outline
Collaborating with stakeholders, including presenting proposals, collecting feedback and implementing necessary edits
Leading script development and serving as the Meta solutions expert in partnership with our creative agency
Overseeing filming from a product accuracy perspective and serving as talent (featured picture)
Leading feedback and revisions for 36 videos created
Leading creation of the CMS landing page and drafting marketing language in partnership with our creative team
